San Martino di Castrozza

San Martino di Castrozza is a small town in the south-east of Trentino, it lays on a sunny valley at 1400m at the foot of the dolomitic group of the Pale di San Martino.  This location became very popular at the end of the 19th century among the first european climbers and pioneers of alpinism, who started to wander these unexplored territories to reach for the first time the top of the amazing peaks of the Dolomites.

San Martino is still today a very famous touristic destination of the Dolomites and it’s very appreciated by the climbers and the amateurs for the landscape and the breathtaking paths, a spectacular heritage that it has been preserved and valued through extended services and new projects.

This alpine theatre makes it unique in the Dolomites.

Primiero Valley

The small valley of Primiero in the south-east of Trentino, includes six townships: Fiera di Primiero, Imèr, Mezzano, Siròr, Tonadico e Transacqua; to which are associated the towns of Canal San Bovo (Vanoi) e Sagon Mis.

The valley borders  Belluno on the south, and it is surrounded by three mountain ranges: to the west Lagorai, to south the Vette Feltrine, and to the north the Pale di San Martino. Between their 3000 meters peaks, the Pale di San Martino enclose wide plateau. Opposite, the Lagorai divides the valley from the Valsugana and the Val di Fiemme with its volcanic peaks.

Vanoi Valley

The Valley of Vanoi is a secluded territory of 125 square kilometers covered with pine forests. Surrounded by more than a hundred peaks over 2000 meters, the area is graced by villages, mountain chalets, meadows, lakes and torrents.

The valley is mostly a wide park at the foot of the Lagorai mountain belt, and it’s an extensive area, a landscape which is still uncontaminated and wild, a place to meet nature and rediscover the pure simplicity of a life in the mountains.
